Buquês são flores mortas

2017

This project was inspired by a song by the brazilian musician Criolo. The flower depicted in this poster is an Alstroemeria, a species from South America that thrives in Brazil and Chile. It’s commonly used as symbol of happiness and friendship given its vast colours variation. In the poster it’s printed only in either black or white, which antagonizes with the usual perception of the plant. The intention of this is to provoke the observers comprehension and invite him to a reflexion. The interaction of the verbal and non verbal elements creates a pessimistic and poetic tone to the artifact.

You can listen to the song on spotify here.
